The Big Bugger from Down Under
The New Zealand & Australian Paranormal Investigation Society (NZPI) was founded in late 2006 by Brad Scott after he relocated from Australia. And in 2009 NZPI became the Film & Media Consultants that you see today after relocating back to Australia.
Not only has NZPI Film & Media Consultants flourished within the entertainment industry, but with the formation of Ghost Hunters Australia with sub branch (Oz Boyz Paranormal) the work continues within the realm of the supernatural.
Brad has been actively researching the paranormal for nearly 18 years, after a personal experience he had from an early age. This experience gave him the confidence and the passion to persue the world of the paranormal. Brad started out investigating in secret, going alone under the radar, happy to do his own thing. Never satisfied with just walking into a place, he would research the history, speak to the locals, track down former owners and go over blue prints of construction just to find logical answers as to why these places had a reputation for being allegedly haunted, this was also incorporated researching in UFO Sightings and other paranormal events. Brad has since produced and presented a TV series, and hosted the only on air Paranormal Radio Show in New Zealand on Access Radio 783am ( NZPI Paranormal Radio ). Everything Brad has done from the Website, TV Series, Travel, Equipment and Radio Show has been totally self funded.
Brad’s skills as a videographer, have been employed many times and this enables him to get right image for each and every investigation. Brad is always too happy to assist where he can and has a large pool of experts within the field to call upon who trust his values and methodology when required.
With regular travelling, Brad is constantly reminded of the demand for this profession. He receives letters and emails from around the globe positively promoting his efforts to investigate, assist and contribute to the field of Paranormal Research and Investigation.
Brad has one big wish on his bucket list, to travel the world and document some of the worlds most famous haunting’s, Spend time Chasing Tornado’s with the experts, explore natures wonders and myths, speak to people who have had experiences with UFO’s and tell their stories. And one day turn the consultancy business into a world class production company, so he can bring the paranormal to the masses in a honest, exciting and on the edge of your seats format.

Anna Mavritsky
Anna is NZPI’s Public Relations Manager, Being Brad’s right hand, Anna is responsible for all aspects of public relations this also involves Client Contact, Filming Schedules and making sure everything goes as smooth as possible at NZPI, not only does Anna make sure everything is where it should be, but also is an exceptional case manager and loves to get out there and investigate with the rest of the team. Paul Baron BSc(Hons) MRACI CChem
Paul Baron, is NZPI’s residence scientist and is in the process of doing his PhD. Paul is currently working alongside Brad on new experimental methodologies within the paranormal field. More information on work being produced shortly.
Matt Whimp
Matt Whimp, is the co-founder of Oz Boyz Paranormal and is our lead investigator, Matt’s knowledge of Australian flora and fauna come in very handy within open area investigations, we do not only do ghost hunting but also cryptozoological style of investigation. ( Brad, Matt and Paul are cousins )
Mick Smiton
Mick is a Plumber by trade and is also a investigator for Oz Boyz, his knowledge within building and construction are a great asset to finding logical solutions to things that go bump in the night.
Anthony
Anthony is a Render by trade and like Mick has many years of experience within building and construction industry, keen investigator and the love for finding answers to unanswered questions.
